Pomegranate Heart Healer

This is the perfect breakfast smoothie. It has antioxidants that prevent cancer, vitamins that help to lower blood pressure and cholesterol as well as probiotics that help provide healthy flora that lines your stomach that increases immunity. What a yummy start to the day!

Serves 1-2

Ingredients:
2 cups pomegranate seeds
1 1/2 cups cashew milk (see below)
1 small red beet
1 ripe banana
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp probiotic powder (or 2 capsules)

Blend all ingredients in a high-speed blender for 40 seconds. Top with foam from cashew milk and extra pomegranate seeds.

Cashew Milk
1 cup cashews (soaked for 4 hours)
6 cups filtered water

Blend in high speed blender and enjoy. Use some for the smoothie and place the rest in a mason jar in the fridge to enjoy with raw cereal or in another smoothie.
