Spiced Banana Winter Smoothie



I was so excited to see that the weather was starting to get better… Until I woke up to yet another out of control blizzard today. I decided that to beat my winter blues, I would concoct something warm and spicy. I sip it now and watch the snow.

Ingredients – Serves 2

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 dates
  • 1 tsp pure maple syrup
  • 1/8 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cm cube of fresh ginger

Blend in your trusty blender and enjoy with a friend to warm up from a nippy winter’s day.

Garnish with chia seeds and a light dusting of pumpkin pie spice.
