Uncle Zoran’s Vitamin Bomb

While staying with my boyfriend’s family in Belgrade, my diet became a topic of interest, as Serbians are not familiar with food allergies and raw veganism. During one of these wonderful conversations, I received a simple smoothie recipe that is perfect as an anytime drink. As soon as I returned back to Toronto, I made this concoction and it proved to be quite delicious.

1 ripe banana
2 swiss chard leaves (destemmed)
2 soaked dates
1 cup of raspberries
1 cup of filtered water

Blend and be energized.
